Heights West 11th

this apartment complex is a glorified ghetto that upcharges their homes simply for slapping “heights” in the name. don’t move here for it’s proximity to the heights. don’t be deceived by the people running outside by the nice bayou or bike riders, it is not safe. people will break into your car or steal your tires. save yourself the stress, it is not worth the money or discount they provide you with to move in. it smells really bad, there are cockroaches everywhere, and the trash cans are always overflowing. it seems that no one works here on the weekends. also you’ll see a cop car on the premise and they will use that to promote this place as safe but it seems that it’s there as decoration, people still break in and the cop doesn’t help at all other than to write your report. the gate is also always broken and the leasing office takes forever to fix it. the leasing office also doesn’t answer the phone for residents but if you call and click the other option for information they do answer, i’ve tested it on multiple occasions. save your hard earned money on somewhere that’s actually safe.

Just renewed my lease! Still enjoying this community. Good location, great neighbors and neighborhood and wonderful staff! I love this place! The location simply can't be beat, but it's the neighbors and staff that create the community. I consider several of my neighbors not just friends, but family and the staff has always delivered great and speedy service. Olga, Stephanie and the maintenance staff are friendly, pleasant and eager to help whenever I've needed something.

PLEASE DO NOT believe the reviews we get baited to leave good reviews to win raffles. I do NOT recommend living here. Tenants have to live with the fear EVERY NIGHT of either getting their vehicle broken into, wheels stolen, or even their whole vehicle stolen. 7+ plus vehicles got broken into within two nights and staff doesn’t do anything about it, they say they can’t control people’s actions and literally do nothing about it. When we filed a police report they turned our investigator away saying the “footage hasn’t finished downloading”. They have ONE camera in the parking lot. And it’s not once every now and then, it’s constant. They say they have a cop that lives on premises and not even they do anything about it. For your own safety, I promise it’s not worth it. Oh and it’s always smelling horrible due to there being a sewer place right in front of the property.

Nice place nice apartments, but not enough security and management does nothing about it. Stayed here 1 month and had 7 cars get broken into and almost had my truck stolen but caught them before they could, but they still didn’t do anything now more people cars got broken into and wheels stolen Not worth it just stay away from here. RIDICULOUS

We have lived here three years. Overall our experience has been a good one. Management, staff and maintenance are friendly and professional, quick to respond to issues and request. When we have had issues they are resolved quickly. Some things take more time than others, but it gets done. We have good neighbors and the community feels safe. We enjoy calling Heights West 11 th home.

If you are thinking about living here don’t. We moved in this past September 2022 in apt 229 and in December 2022 a pipe broke in the unit above us. After that the management did not put us in another unit to stay while the repairs are being made. There are walls missing, hole in the ceiling, carpet missing and all our stuff was moved with out them even notifying us. We also found mold in the unit. Once we told them there was mold they told us we had 7 days to move our stuff out. As we are moving out we found that there are other in the apartments in the complex that have mold and the management kept blaming the other rebates for taking a hot shower or some other reason. Now that we only have 2 days left before we need to be out they start working on the unit after a month of them not doing anything types of repairs or any updates.
